Daddy Flats Diapers

Since I haven't spent time blogging here I might as well mention that along with using my nutin better laundry blend faithfully on all my laundry needs. It also works well by mixing with water in my spray bottle (be sure to strain the mixture through a funnel to get out any of the particles so they don't get stuck in the sprayer) and i use this combination to clean the bathroom, kitchen..anywhere you would use it as an all purpose spray.

Along with developing nutin better I have created the ultimate cloth diaper. It is a two layers flat style diaper that is folded creating a multi layer diaper in all the right places without any unnecessary bulk. This slim design washes great, dries fast, and you have confidence that your diaper is clean and sanitized.

Welcome to That Bottom Lip's Soapnuts

We are excited to take the next step towards a healthier clean planet. ORGANIC Indian Soapnut Shells (Wash nuts) that grows on trees in Himalayas used as Eco-Friendly washing detergent . Soapnuts is our answer and we hope you choose soapnuts for a safe all natural chemical free and clean household. Our venture began from an exhaustive search for a pure all natural substitute to detergent and soap that we can use on our cloth diapers. The research was not only controdicting when speaking of what homemade recipes work best. I was determined to figure out a solution and realized that in all my research soapnuts has yet to turn up any negative uses.

WHAT ARE SOAPNUTS?

Soapnuts are actually soapberries that grow on trees in India & Nepal. They are the shells of the seed. There are two main varieties of Soap Nuts: sapindus trifoliatus and sapindus mukorossi. The sapindus mukorossi is the most commonly used in cleaning, although both are quite effective.

In lieu of detergent, shells from SoapNuts can remove dirt from clothing in a mild and natural way, preserving the colors and structure of the clothing. Once the shell is in contact in warm water, it will produce a soapy substance and leaves no residue on fabric. It is claimed that 1kg (2.2lbs) of nuts can wash up to 100 loads of laundry. Within a cloth bag, 6-8 shells will wash up to 3-4 loads.

SoapNuts can also be used for more than just cleaning cloth diapers and the rest of your laundry. You can grind it into a powder and use it as a body wash, shampoo, car wash, window washer as well as on your pet. You can boil it creating a liquid formula and use it as a general cleaner. Oh, and guess what? If you opt not to use your soap nuts to their bitter ends you can throw the remains in your compost! HOW GREEN IS THAT?

I have yet to find another naturally grown product that can do all this. If there is I would LOVE to know.

Now you are probably wondering; Where can i buy soapnuts? Well, i am so in love with these little nuts that I am now offering them for sale. Until our store is in place for online purchasing I can be contacted at soapnuts@mydesignerstudio.com

In time we will be offering a special soapnut laundry blend aimed at maximizing the potential of our organic soapnuts and is currently undergoing testing. Also, i have been working on a new cloth diaper design especially for flats and prefold lovers as well as those who want to love them but are in fear of a perfect trim and secure fit every time.

You may also be wondering what THAT BOTTOM LIP is all about. Well, that is just a name we came up when my daughter was first born. She used to show her pouty bottom lip and they are so cute we just kept saying "look at that bottom lip"....so from then on my business ventures carry that name.
